The SP LITE is one of the latest CO2 lasers, now including a dual cooling system, error detection system, Continuous Wave, Super Pulse, and Char Free Mode.
By emitting 10,600-nm infrared rays, the SP LITE burns any pigmented lesions, or is used for incisions, hemostasis, wound drainage, etc.
The laser reacts well to moisturized skin cells, and has an extremely short pulse that can minimize heat damage in areas other than targeted.
With its fine laser, the SP LITE can penetrate as deep as necessary, and is able to treat a wide variety of conditions including moles, freckles, age pigments, syringoma, milia, warts, and calluses.
Post-Treatment Precautions:
- Wash/shower lightly to keep the dressing from falling off
- Avoid swimming, sauna, and baths for about one week
- If dressing should fall off within a week, make sure to reapply
- Leave the treated area for at least one to two weeks. Picking at the scab may result in scarring
- Wash/shower lightly, avoiding the scab
- Avoid swimming, sauna, and baths until scab falls off naturally
- Apply ointment 2-3 times a day until scab is gone
*Treatment area may still remain red for a while. Apply UV protection regularly until red spots are gone to avoid discoloration.
